40mmN Stun Grenade: This grenade can be fired from any single-shot launcher (it is too long for the Mk19). The grenade fires a nylon "beanbag" that fans out after firing to spread its impact over a wide area. The grenade is designed to
incapacitate without doing permanent damage and has no explosive filler (and no concussion or fragmentation damage). Because of the grenade’s design, all damage inflicted is blunt trauma, even if the target is unarmored. The grenade can only be used in direct fire. Wt: 0.3 kg, 20 kg per case of 44. Price: $20 each, $800 per case (S/-).
40mmN Grapple Grenade: This grenade can be fired from any single-shot launcher (cannot be used in the Mk19) and propels a grappling hook end an attached rope up to 50 meters straight up. The grapple must be inserted separately into the front of the launcher. Weight:0.3 kg, 20 kg per case of 36.; Price: $20 each, $800 per case ( S).
40mmN HE Airburst: This round is similar to the HE round most are familiar with, however the key difference is that when the round impacts into the ground an ejection fuze fires a grenade ball into the air (maximum of 5 feet). This grenade ball then explodes in mid-air, raining down shrapnel on those below. This round is especially favored by troops in arctic conditions where the round does not lose any lethalness compared to a normal HE round. Weight: 0.4kg each, 33kg per case of 44; Price: $8 each, $350 per case of 44 (S/R)
40mmN Flash-Bang: This round is similar to the "Flash bang" grenades used for counter-terrorist work, it is primarily used for CT work but is also used for diversionary purposes. The 40mm Flash bang grenade damage is as the regular FB grenades, all players within 14 meters of the impact zone must make aD10 roll against their Constitution to avoid the other effects of the grenade, subtracting 1 from the die roll for each square (two meters) they are from the impact zone. Failure means the character is incapacitated (blinded, deafened, and disoriented) for 24 phases (2 minutes). Success means that the character is incapacitated for only three phases (15 seconds). Weight: 0.3kg each, 25kg per case of 44; Price $8 each, $355 per case of 44 (S/-)
40mmN Ferret: Designed for hostage situations, the Ferret round is designed to be a barricading breaching round. Once it has done so it releases a liquid CS agent with little fragmentation or sparks, making it popular with police agencies. It carries 25cc of CS agent which is enough to fill a 4500 cubic space area. The 40mm Ferret damage is as thus: all players within 2 meters of the impact zone must make a D10 roll against their Constitution. Failure means the character is incapacitated (Blinded, Coughing) for 36 phases (3 minutes). Success means the character is incapacitated for only 5 phases (25 seconds). Weight: 0.3kg each, 25kg per case of 44; Price: $10, $440 per case of 44 (R/-)
