Mendoza RM-2
Notes: This weapon is obsolete even in Mexican service, but thousands can still be found in reserve armories in that country (usually in poor condition). It is an old magazine-fed model based on the Browning Automatic Rifle, but with a top-mounted magazine. It is prone to overheating since its barrel cannot be changed in the field. The RM-2 was the last of the Mendoza designs. It has mostly been replaced by the Ameli, MAG, and HK-21.
