   More about my pet:                                

      Shadow lives in my home in San Antonio, Texas, with Anya and                  

      Wolfgang.  Unfortunately, he has hip dysplasia; it isn't bad yet, but he       

      does have some stiffness in cold weather and damp weather.  He hates       

      the hot summer weather of this city, staying outside only a few minutes     

      at a time in summer.

Fun Facts:

Shadow is a huge, energetic, loveable Black Labrador/Great Dane 

mix.  He was born sometime in January of 1994.  I think that he 

basically adopted me.

--Shadow gets his size (112 pounds) from his Great Dane side, as well as his 

slobbery jowls.

 --His personality is all Labrador -- crazy and energetic.  At 7 years old, he still 

acts like a puppy.

--Shadow is a complete cut-up in public, curious about everyone and everything.

--We got him from a local animal shelter called the Animal Defense League.  If 

you want a good dog, get a mutt!
