TAM 150 T11 BV

Notes: This vehicle is a medium 6x6 truck used by the former Yugoslavian nations and Saudi Arabia.  It is basically a greatly enlarged TAM 110 T7 BV (found in Croatian Light Unarmored Vehicles), and uses the same forward control cab and general layout as that vehicle; that cab is canvas covered in most versions, and has a removable PVC plastic cab roof in hardtop examples.  The windshield may be folded forward over the front of the vehicle in both cases. The cab has a swinging bracket for use with night vision equipment (for the driver only). The TAM 150 T11 BV is equipped with a winch of 5000-kilogram capacity under the rear of the cargo body.  The TAM 150 can haul 5 tons on roads, tow 3.6 tons cross country, and 5 tons on roads. The engine of the TAM 150 is a TAM F6L 413Fdiesel developing 154 horsepower, and coupled with a ZF S5-35S transmission with 5 speeds. The brakes and steering are power assisted. The vehicle can ford 1 meter of water. The driver has a central tire pressure regulation system at his disposal.

Variants include an artillery tractor, decontamination vehicle, tanker trucks, communications vehicle, mobile workshop, and fire truck. The BOV family of armored vehicles are based on the TAM 150 T11 BV, and serve as a base for the M94 Plamen-S MRL and the Kosava MRL. The TAM 150 is also popular with civilians of the region, especially outfitted as expedition trucks.
