AM 2B9 Vasilek
Real World Story: The Vasilek (Cornflower) is a revolutionary concept among mortars: it is a clip-fed automatic mortar. It is fed by 4-round clips that can be continuously fed into the weapon, allowing a high rate of fire. The barrel is strong enough that during long fire missions, it can be cooled by dousing it with water without worrying about cracking it. The Vasilek can fire in the indirect fire mode or direct fire like an autocannon. For direct fire missions, a special HEAT round may be used against light armor. (Large Caliber Gun skill is used when firing in the direct fire role, the ROF is halved.)

Notes: Polish M-37s can usually be readily identified by the muzzle attachment to prevent double loading, but most M-37s are of standard Russian design.

Notes: The M-41 proved to be a rather poor weapon, difficult to aim properly and unstable when firing (all firing tasks are one level more difficult).

Nona SVK-M
Notes: This is the towed infantry version of the mortar/howitzer carried on the 2S9 and 2S23 vehicles. It fires normal Warsaw Pact 120mm mortar shells, and in addition fires RAP and GAMP, as well as ICM-DP shells. It is breech-loaded, and can be parachuted and carried on a helicopter able to handle the large load.
