Beretta 1201FP
Notes: This is a recoil-operated semiautomatic shotgun designed for police use. The 1201FP uses a special charging procedure that allow the user to load the gun and fire, or if the chamber is empty, load rounds by hand and still keep rounds loaded in the magazine. (This is useful when firing shells that the firer does not normally use on a regular basis, such as shotgun flares or flamer rounds.) This merely involves depressing an extra button, and does not significantly lengthen the time it takes to charge the weapon. Stocks are polymer, and may be conventional or have a pistol grip; with a pistol grip stock, a set of spacers is also supplied so that the length of pull may be adjusted. The design is such that the receiver is unstressed, allowing light aluminum alloy to be used. The rest of the metalwork is steel however, including the 18.1-inch barrel. The sights are actually the same sights as used on the M-92 and M-96 pistols, properly calibrated and with optional tritium inlays.
Twilight 2000 Notes: This weapon does not exist in the Twilight 2000 timeline.

Beretta A304
Notes: This is the latest in a long line of semiautomatic shotguns that are more or less identical except for their age and other minor details. The A304 is a gas operated weapon whose current iteration dates to 1993, but the A300 dates back to the 1950s. Most of the receiver and the front grip is made from light alloy, but the barrel and some parts are made from high-strength steel, and the front grip has a shell of walnut and the stock is of walnut. Interchangeable barrels are available with fixed chokes or interchangeable chokes (which Beretta calls a Mobilchoke system).

Beretta A391 Xtrema
Notes: This shotgun started as a special version of the AL391 series, designed to fire 3.5" magnum shells. There are several versions of the Xtrema, varying not only in barrel length, but also in the materials used in construction and the finish applied. The Xtrema Synthetic uses a polymer stock and forward grip reinforced with glass fiber; the Xtrema Camo Realtree Hardwoods has the stock finished with printed deciduous tree motifs on the synthetic stock; the Xtrema Camo Advantage Wetlands is printed with reeds and rushes; and the Xtrema Camo Advantage Timber is printed with motifs of an autumn woodland. They are all identical for game purposes. The Xtrema is a gas-operated semiautomatic shotgun.
Twilight 2000 Notes: This shotgun does not exist.

Beretta AL391 Teknys
Notes: This variant of the A391/AL391 series was introduced in 2002. It is a simple autoloading shotgun, but one that incorporates some new technology, such as a gas pressure relief system that allows the gun to fire a wide variety of charge and load weights. If there is gas pressure in excess of what is required to operate the mechanism, it is blown out through a gas relief valve in the gas cylinder below the barrel. The Teknys is designed for 3" shells and comes in a standard or slug version. Stocks are of wood, and the receiver housing is of light alloy. They are normally equipped with interchangeable chokes but can be had with fixed chokes.
Twilight 2000 Notes: These shotguns do not exist.

Beretta AL391 Ulrika
Notes: This shotgun is designed to be a field and working gun. There are many versions produced, both with synthetic and wooden stocks, but all are designed for 3" shells and have a thick recoil pad on the butt and recoil bolts in the stock to reduce recoil. The Urika Camo Hardwoods has a synthetic stock overprinted with a woodlands pattern and has a 24" barrel; the Urika Camo Waterfowl is similar, but has a longer barrel and is overprinted with a rush and reed pattern; The Urika Synthetic has a plain gray synthetic stock with several different barrel lengths; the Ulrika U has a walnut stock and foregrip and several different barrel lengths; The Ulrika U Gold is identical but has engraved gold-inlay ducks on the sides of the receiver; the Ulrika Sporting comes in 12 gauge and 20 gauge and has a walnut stock and fore-end; the Ulrika Target is similar, but has only 28-inch or 30-inch barrels and comes only in 12 gauge; and the Ulrika Trap has 30-inch or 32-inch barrels, but is otherwise similar. (The 32-inch barrel version is also known as the Ulrika Trap Optima.)

Beretta ES100
Notes: This semiautomatic shotgun was introduced in 1999. It uses recoil operation and uses the older falling block locking of Beretta’s 1200 models. The standard gun has a walnut stock and fore-end; the Slug model has either a walnut or plastic stock and fore-end. The Camo Hardwoods and Camo Wetlands models have overprinting and synthetic stocks and fore-ends. The standard gun has barrels of 24, 26 or 28-inch barrels; the Slug version has a 24-inch barrel; and the Camo versions have 28 or 30-inch barrels. These shotguns have sighting ribs, except for the Slug gun, which has rifle-type sights.
Twilight 2000 Notes: These shotguns do not exist in the Twilight 2000 timeline.
