Notes: This is South Africa's standard towed howitzer, also in use by Iran, Iraq, and Qatar. It is a modern artillery system with an APU. The gun is helped in loading by a pneumatic rammer powered by an air compressor. The APU also assists in bringing the gun into or out of action and may be used with the operating mechanism. This weapon is the gun used on the G-6 self-propelled howitzer.
