Pandur

Notes: This Austrian APC is used by that country and by Belgium and Kuwait. It has also been tested by the US for its light divisions, and by Poland. They have been in service since 1986. It is similar to the LAV-25 in appearance. Several versions exist. The vehicle is usually better appointed than the LAV-25, with thermal vision and radiation protection being the standard. The cupola has a hatch, there is a hatch on the front deck for the driver, and on the hull rear has two doors for troop entry. There is a single firing port on either side of the hull.

The basic version has a machinegun cupola with armored side shields. It is a "basic box" sort of APC. The MICV-25 tops the hull with a turret armed with a 25mm Chaingun and machinegun. The MICV-30 has a similar turret, but is armed with a 30mm Bushmaster II Chaingun. The MICV-40 has a smaller turret, armed with an automatic grenade launcher and a machinegun. The Ambulance has a raised rear roofline and is unarmed; it is stocked with a plethora of medical equipment and supplies.
